Summer Hill Walking & Mountain Craft

PB Mountaineering’s hill walking and mountain craft courses primarily tend to be run from the Lake District national park. Although that said they can be organised from any of the UK’s National Parks such as The Yorkshire Dales, Snowdonia, Caringorms, and Northumberland National Parks.

Basing the company in the Lake District National Park has its advantages, mainly the fact that we are blessed with so much fine hill walking. We have the mighty Scafell Pike and Scafell, as well as Helvellyn and Skiddaw to keep you busy. Remember although Scafell Pike is on the national three peaks radar and is a fine day out on it’s own, there are many more superb hills to go at, like some of Alfred Wainwright’s 214 tick list!

It’s your day

Above everything it’s your day. Some people prefer to have a ‘guided’ approach when it comes to exploring the hills. Where as others prefer to be a little more ‘hands on’ and learn a few skills whilst they are out. Whatever you prefer we can accommodate, it’s your day.

All our mountain craft days are taught to MLTUK (Mountain Leader Training UK) standard, so you can be assured you will be receiving the safest and correct way of going about things whilst out in the hills.

Please feel free to get in touch to discuss exactly what you’re looking for. Remember we can accommodate larger hill walking groups, and give a substantial discount for group bookings.
